Introduzione e regolamento del progetto

Sotto il motto “Il linguaggio universale della Danza”, Lo storico Concorso Internazionale TANZOLYMP, approderà con la sua prima edizione di TANZOLYMP ITALIA.

Ad ospitare questo evento sarà proprio la città di Roma, grazie alla collaborazione con i nostri partners, darà la possibilità ai partecipanti di confrontarsi con altri giovani studenti provenienti da numerose realtà di balletto classico e contemporaneo provenienti da tutto il mondo. In questi giorni, gli studenti si misureranno nella competizione avendo l’opportunità di partecipare alle prestigiose masterclasses tenute dalla giuria e da importanti esponenti internazionali della danza di oggi.

Questa nuova tappa italiana del concorso ha come scopo primario quello di creare un punto di ritrovo tra gli studenti, maestri e celebrità di fama internazionale; così da generare nuovi impulsi per lo sviluppo della danza nel mondo, selezionare i migliori talenti e scuole per la fase finale del TANZOLYMP Berlin 2026.

Introduction. Rules and Regulation

Under the motto “Dance as a global language,” the historic International TANZOLYMP Competition will debut with its first edition of TANZOLYMP ITALIA.

This event will be hosted by the city of Rome, which, through collaboration with numerous partners, will offer participants the chance to engage with other young students from various classical and contemporary ballet schools around the world. During these days, students will compete while having the opportunity to participate in prestigious masterclasses led by the jury and prominent international personalities of today’s dance scene.

The primary purpose of this new Italian stage of the competition is to create a meeting point for students, teachers, and internationally renowned celebrities, in order to generate new impulses for the development of dance worldwide, select the best talents and schools for the final phase of TANZOLYMP Berlin 2026.

I solisti, i duo e i gruppi parteciperanno nelle seguenti categorie:

Danza Classica / Neoclassica: per scuole professionali e private nelle categorie: SOLISTI, DUO, GRUPPO
Danza Moderna / Contemporanea: per scuole professionali e private nelle categorie : SOLISTI, DUO, GRUPPO
Danza Tradizionale / Popolare nella categoria GRUPPI
Pop / Jazz nella categoria GRUPPI

Requisiti per la partecipazione

Inviare I moduli di iscrizione al concorso TANZOLYMP ITALIA 2025, interamente compilati ENTRO il 10 giugno 2025.
Allegare una copia firmata del "Regolamento" di TANZOLYMP ITALIA.
Il partecipante accetta, con la presentazione del modulo di iscrizione, le condizioni di partecipazione
Specificare nel modulo di iscrizione la categoria esatta nel quale si intende partecipare.
Non vi sono limiti numerici di danzatori nella partecipazione per le categorie GRUPPI.

Participation Requirements

Submit the TANZOLYMP ITALIA 2025 competition registration forms, fully completed, by June 10, 2025.
Attach a signed copy of the "Regulations" for TANZOLYMP ITALIA.
By submitting the registration form, the participant accepts the conditions of participation.
Specify the exact category in which the participant intends to compete in the registration form.
There is no numerical limit for dancers in the GROUP categories.

Età dei partecipanti

Gruppo 1: dagli 8 ai 12 anni
Gruppo 2: dai 13 ai 15 anni
Gruppo 3: dai 16 ai 18 anni
Gruppo 4: dai 19 ai21 anni (solo nella categoria GRUPPI sono ammessi danzatori fino ai 26 anni)

I partecipanti devono avere una propria assicurazione sanitaria.

Participant Age Groups

Group 1: 8-12 years old
Group 2: 13-15 years old
Group 3: 16-18 years old
Group 4: 19-21 years old (only in the GROUP category are dancers up to 26 years old allowed)

Participants must have their own health insurance.

Numero di esibizioni e durata

Per i solisti: 2 variazioni nella categoria danza "Classica/Neoclassica" (per un minutaggio massimo di4 minuti)
Per i solisti: 1 assolo nella categoria "Moderna/Contemporanea" (per un minutaggio massimo di 4 minuti)
Ai solisti è permesso partecipare nelle categorie duo o Pas de deux.
Per i duo: 1 esibizione di Pas de deux dal repertorio classico (durata massima: 11 minuti)
Per i duo: 1 esibizione nella categoria "Danza Moderna/Contemporanea" (5 minuti)
Ai danzatori che partecipano nella sezione duo è permesso partecipare anche nella sezione gruppi e viceversa
Per i gruppi: 2 coreografie obbligatorie per ogni gruppo partecipante in una categoria (per una durata totale di 8 minuti).
Non sono ammesse modifiche dopo aver inviato la propria candidatura agli organizzatori.
L’ordine di esibizione di tutti i partecipanti nelle rispettive categorie verrà inviato pochi giorni prima dell’inizio del concorso.
Saranno possibili solamente prove per il suono in tempi limitati
L’ordine delle prove seguirà l’ordine del programma
I limiti di tempo sopra indicati non possono essere in nessun caso superati.

Number of Performances and Duration

For solos: 2 variations in the “Classical/Neoclassical” dance category (maximum duration: 4 minutes)
For solos: 1 solo in the “Modern/Contemporary” dance category (maximum duration: 4 minutes)
Soloists are allowed to compete in duo or Pas de deux categories.
For duos: 1 Pas de deux performance from the classical repertoire (maximum duration: 11 minutes)
For duos: 1 performance in the “Modern/Contemporary” dance category (5 minutes)
Dancers participating in the duo section may also participate in the group section and vice versa.
For groups: 2 compulsory choreographies for each participating group in one category (total duration: 8 minutes).
No changes will be allowed after submitting the application to the organizers.
The performance order for all participants in their respective categories will be sent a few days before the competition begins.
Only sound checks and short rehearsals will be allowed with limited time.
The rehearsal order will follow the event schedule.
The time limits mentioned above must not be exceeded in any case.

Tariffe di registrazione

25 € per l'iscrizione direttamente sul sito web al momento dell’iscrizione.

Tariffe di partecipazione:

150 € a partecipante per la categoria solisti (entrambe le variazioni per la categoria classico/neoclassico)
300 € per le categorie duo e pas des deux
60 € per ogni partecipante nella categoria gruppi

Tutte le quote vanno versate a seguito dell'iscrizione, in ogni modo non oltre il 15 giugno 2025

Registration Fees

25 € for online registration through the website at the time of registration.

Participation Fees

150 € per participant for the soloist category (both variations for classical/neoclassical)
300 € for duo and Pas de deux categories
60 € per participant in the group category

All fees must be paid following registration, but no later than June 15, 2025.

Verrà pubblicato Il programma dettagliato di tutto lo svolgimento del concorso il 20 giugno 2025.

Il concorso avrà luogo nei giorni 13-14 luglio 2025 dalle 10:00 alle 22:00 presso il Teatro Quirino Roma. La cerimonia di premiazione si terrà il 15 luglio 2025 presso il Midas Palace Hotel o il Teatro Quirino Roma, verrà confermato il luogo in seguito.
Le Masterclass si terranno presso l’Art Village - Accademia del Balletto di Roma, V. Aurelia 477.

General Information about the Competition Program

July 12, 2025 – Arrivals. Check-in at Midas Palace Hotel in Rome for participants not residing in Rome.
July 13, 2025 – Rehearsals (audio only), competition, masterclasses
July 14, 2025 – Rehearsals (audio only), competition, masterclasses
July 15, 2025 – Rehearsals (audio and space), competition, masterclasses, and Award Ceremony
July 16, 2025 – Departure

A detailed program of the competition will be published on June 20, 2025.

The competition will take place on July 13-14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at the Quirino Theater in Rome. The award ceremony will take place on July 15, 2025 at either the Midas Palace Hotel or the Quirino Theater, with the exact location confirmed later.

Masterclasses will be held at the Art Village - Ballet Academy of Rome, V. Aurelia 477.

Giuria del concorso

Tutte le esibizioni saranno giudicate da un corpo di giurati composto da personalità di indubbio rilievo nel modo della danza, media e cultura. Questi daranno dei giudizi basandosi sulle “abilità tecniche”, “artisticità” ed “espressività” di ogni performance. Saranno loro a decretare le migliori esibizioni per il gala finale ed a stabilire eventuali sospensioni di esibizioni che non sono in linea con il regolamento. Il loro giudizio è insindacabile.

Competition Jury

All performances will be judged by a jury consisting of prominent personalities in the world of dance, media, and culture. They will assess performances based on "technical skills," "artistry," and "expressiveness." The jury will decide the best performances for the final gala and may disqualify performances not in line with the regulations. Their decision is final.

Premi e riconoscimenti

I partecipanti riceveranno medaglie d'oro, argento e bronzo, diplomi, premi in denaro e doni commemorativi. Per alcuni artisti, particolarmente talentuosi, avranno l’opportunità di ricevere borse di studio ed inviti nelle principali scuole di balletto e istituzioni in Europa e nel mondo. Per i solisti nella categoria danza classica (19-21 anni) la loro partecipazione è da considerarsi come un’ audizione presso lo Staatsballett di Berlino con la possibilità di ricevere offerte per eventuali contratti per compagnie di danza professionali in Germania ed in Europa.

Prizes and Recognition

Participants will receive gold, silver, and bronze medals, diplomas, cash prizes, and commemorative gifts. Some exceptionally talented artists may receive scholarships and invitations to major ballet schools and institutions in Europe and around the world. For soloists in the classical dance category (19-21 years), participation will be considered an audition at the Staatsballett Berlin, with the possibility of receiving offers for professional dance company contracts in Germany and Europe.

Le quote di partecipazione non comprendono alcun tipo di assicurazione. Tutti i costi relativi agli spostamenti all’interno della città ed i transfers dall’aeroporto all’Hotel NON sono inclusi. Gli organizzatori non si assumono alcuna responsabilità rispetto a possibili incidenti, furti o qualsiasi inconveniente verificatisi durante lo svolgimento dell’evento,. Ogni partecipante è responsabile dele proprie spese di viaggio e spostamento per raggiungere in luoghi dove si svolgeranno le attività.

Participation

Participation fees do not include any form of insurance. All costs for local transportation and transfers from the airport to the hotel are not included. The organizers are not responsible for any accidents, thefts, or any inconveniences that may occur during the event. Each participant is responsible for their travel and transportation expenses to the event locations.

Alloggio in hotel:

I pagamenti devono essere effettuati a PraBesTime Production. Anche le spese relative all’alloggio non sono in nessun caso rimborsabili. Entrambe le quote di partecipazione (iscrizione e Hotel) devono essere versate entro il 15 giugno 2025, altrimenti l'iscrizione verrà annullata.

Hotel Accommodation

Payments should be made to PraBesTime Production. Accommodation costs are non-refundable. Both participation fees (registration and hotel) must be paid by June 15, 2025, or the registration will be canceled.

Una volta arrivati in hotel, tutti i partecipanti devono effettuare il check-in presso il banco informazioni (nel foyer) e comunicare il numero della camera del capogruppo.
I capigruppo devono consegnare un elenco con i nomi dei partecipanti, le camere assegnate e i numeri delle camere.
Con l'iscrizione a TANZOLYMP ITALIA, tutti i partecipanti accettano il "Regolamento" di TANZOLYMP ITALIA 2025.

All participants (except local residents from Rome) must stay at the Midas Palace Hotel in Rome.

Check-out by 12:00 PM
Breakfast available at the hotel from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM
Use of the minibar and phone is at the participant's expense, and TANZOLYMP ITALIA is not responsible.
All fees must be paid by bank transfer by the above dates. Credit card payments or checks are not accepted.
Upon arrival at the hotel, participants must check in at the information desk (in the foyer) and provide the room number of the group leader.
Group leaders must submit a list with the names of participants, assigned rooms, and room numbers.
By registering for TANZOLYMP ITALIA, all participants accept the "Regulations" of TANZOLYMP ITALIA 2025.
