XX INTERNATIONAL DANCE FESTIVAL |  FEBRUARY 16th - 20th, 2023

Tanzolymp_banner

The International Dance Festival TANZOLYMP is held in Berlin on annual basis under the motto “Dance as a global language“ and gives participants the opportunity to meet other young people from all over the world in master classes, seminars and competitions.

The main aim of the Festival is to support and increase the popularity of dancing. Besides an international exchange exploring the different forms of dance aesthetics and artistic styles, the Festival will provide an insight into the spectrum and variety of dancing. The crowning event of the Festival will be the international gala where the best solo artists, duos and groups, winners of TANZOLYMP and winners of the preceding years will receive the opportunity to perform in front of an audience and respectful judges. For the future it is planned that an International Dance Company will be formed, consisting of chosen participants and winners of the previous year.

Liebe TANZOLYMP-TeilnehmerInnen, liebe Tanzfreunde,

Oleksi Bessmertni

TANZOLYMP WORLDWIDE

TANZOLYMP WORLDWIDE

Over the past four years, as an aspect of the TANZOLYMP, regional rounds have been taking place in various countries around the world. The TANZOLYMP regional rounds first and foremost aim to foster young talents. Among other benefits, regional winners will take part in the final in Berlin at the expenses of the TANZOLYMP committee.

The TANZOLYMP regional rounds in Sao Paulo, Brazil can be described as nothing less than a tremendous success – the next round will take place here in 2018. Directly thereafter, TANZOLYMP looks forward to traveling to Lima, Peru. We are also very proud of our cooperation with Danzamerica in Cordoba, Argentina. The regional rounds in Moscow, Russia will take place in October 2017.

This year, TANZOLYMP has expanded their horizons to encompass new regional rounds in Odessa at the Philharmonic Hall and at the National Opera and Ballet Theater in May 2017. In November it’s off to Italy and to Seoul, South Korea.
